He had seen the girl in the corner of his eye, but he had decided to not cause anymore damage to the others. But that was quickly changed as the woman instead shot one of her own blindly, not even taking a second look. The man took a step back, but he kept the shit eating grin on his face for the sake of the show.
"Forgive me," He coughed but still smiled, tilting his head in admiration of the woman. “But that surely isn’t my problem. Or is it? Has it become my problem?" He crossed his arms behind his back, a dark gaze still admiring the woman from a far. “Then say I wasn’t here. Don’t tell anyone. Because does it look like there’s any witnesses? No. There isn’t." His foot took a step closer and he was almost right infront of her again, looking down at her sitting in that chair like she didn’t have a single shit. Perfect. He was only creating more problems if he wanted to. He wasn’t sure what this woman wanted him to do about it. He was only here for his mission only.
"Or are you unable to lie together a small lie that I might happened to die during the break-in? Life can be so much easier with lies.">
"Damn straight it’s your problem" she hissed, narrowing her eyes at him. Digging her nails into the armrests on the chair, she glared at him.
"Even if I were to lie, which I won’t, you think he wouldn’t notice this many girls missing? And even if he didn’t, you think he doesn’t have some way of telling where they are at all times?” to emphasize the point, she held up her wrist to reveal a small question-mark-shaped area of raised skin where a tracker had been embedded. “He makes all the girls wear ‘em when they first join up. I could take it out if I wanted to, but it’s one of the only ways I could get ‘im to trust me this much.” she sighed, before glaring back up at him.
"You vigilante types are all the same- only concerned with yourselves. Nevermind that I’ve been trying to slip past his guard for three years now, nevermind the things I’ve had to do to get here to finally get rid of him! No, all that matters is that you get to waltz in here like some hero and mess everything up for everyone else!" she allowed her tone and face to become more flustered, as though she were on the verge of tears. Covering her face with her hands, she let out a loud sob, "I’m gonna be stuck working for him forever, now"
Peeking through her fingers, she shrunk back in the chair, as if he were truly intimidating her. She furrowed her brows as she wiped her eyes and sniffled, “I could lie if I wanted to, but I won’t. Unlike you, I have morals. I. Don’t. Lie. Besides, he could see through something as stupid as that.”
